The moment Seo-jun defeated Etor, he lost control of his body and a cutscene began playing.
“Hypocritical hunting dog of the Assassins! I won’t go alone like this!”
“!”
However, Dane, who was now controlling his body, couldn’t react immediately like Seo-jun would have, and Etor ran into the bedroom with his near-death body and tore up some parchment.
Boom!
A fierce explosion erupted nearby and the atmosphere turned red as if it were on fire.
“Damn it!”
When Dane checked outside the window, nearby buildings were exploding one after another, with flames and wooden debris flying everywhere.
And at this rate, next would be!
Crash!
The moment Dane realized this, he threw his body through the window to escape outside.
Behind him, the screen showed Etor laughing.
Boom!
The moment Dane broke through the window and jumped outside, a tremendous explosion occurred behind him and flames scorched Dane’s back.
Riiiiing!
Tinnitus rang out, and as his face hit the grass and his blurry vision gradually focused.
“Over here! There’s a terrorist here!”
In the distance, hazily, he could see soldiers rushing toward him.
Even in his dizzy state, Dane desperately got up and started running.
He stumbled forward while climbing over the mansion’s fence, got back up, and climbed onto a rooftop.
A chase scene unfolded.
As the distance gradually widened and Dane’s vision became clearer, an arrow shot from behind lodged in his shoulder.
And then a magic fireball struck him directly.
Eventually, Dane fell into a nearby river with his body in tatters.
Someone unknown watched this scene.
The soldiers saw him fall from the rooftop, judged him dead, and returned. The scene then transitioned.
A man was staring blankly at the sea.
He got up to head somewhere when a black shape washed up by the waves caught his eye.
The man gradually approached the shape and could tell it was a corpse.
The man leisurely searched the corpse and pulled out a brooch with a flying eagle, symbol of freedom, from inside his clothes, putting it in his own pocket.
* * *
After regaining control of his body, Seo-jun first checked the chat window.
-The cutscene hasn’t changed T_T
-Dane always dies
-How is looting a corpse the protagonist lol
Then he said what he’d been wanting to say.
“If it were me, I would have deflected the arrow and magic.”
-LOL
-Destroying the mood lmao
-You probably really would
“No, but doing that with someone else’s face is too much.”
-Seriously lol
-He deserved to die lol
After checking the chat’s reaction, Seo-jun clapped his hands.
“So what should I do now?”
His current location was a tavern.
Christina, whom he’d seen during the tutorial, was wiping down cups.
“Anyone can see she wants me to talk to her…”
Seo-jun approached her. As he got closer, auto-progression started again.
“Customer? Do you need something?”
“Need something? Yes. Quite a lot.”
Christina showed signs of wariness, and Seo-jun pulled out the brooch from his pocket and slammed it down on the table.
Christina was startled and hastily took the brooch to hide it.
After looking around to see if other customers had noticed and confirming with relief that there was no particular reaction, she hurriedly led Seo-jun into the kitchen where only the two of them would be.
“Who are you?”
“Calm down. I just came because I thought I could help.”
“What… do you mean by that?”
“I take requests. Especially assassinations—I’m confident in those.”
“…How much do you know?”
“Everything. The tedious history between your Assassins and the secret societies that make up the social power structure, your purposes, your fights—I know it all. Because I’ve fought against those society bastards in Zion.”
“You… don’t tell me you’re from the west?”
“That’s right.”
“A mercenary who’ll do anything for money—then there’s no way you’d side with the societies. Alright, let’s introduce ourselves then. I’m Christina.”
“I’m…”
Seo-jun’s mouth regained freedom.
-Oh, finally choosing a nickname?
-Don’t tell me Jin Seo-jun was the streamer name all along?
-Real name isn’t bad either lol
Seo-jun’s current streamer name was his real name. That was because he hadn’t set it separately.
Streamer names could be as varied and free as using a friend’s name like Kim Tae-woo, naming yourself after a percussion instrument, or slightly modifying trendy phrases.
‘The safest choice is my real name.’
He didn’t even know how long he’d be doing this anyway, so why bother overthinking it?
And for the game nickname.
“Nameless.”
[‘Nameless’—would you like to use this?]
It was a popular alias from his past life.
Nameless. Contrary to meaning “nothing,” it was an alias that seemed to have something to it, so it was popular in his past life.
[Yes]
“Alright, good. Nameless.”
“How should I contact you when I need you?”
“Wait, before that, I need to know where the owner of this brooch is.”
“Buried at the western dock.”
“I see. Got it.”
Christina showed a calm reaction even upon receiving news of a comrade’s death.
It seemed like a scene meant to indirectly show how easily people could die in the work they were involved in.
[You can now receive assassination requests at the ‘Sun Tavern’!]
“Use this to contact me.”
[You have obtained a ‘Signal Stone’!]
Seo-jun received an item called a Signal Stone and came out of the tavern.
-Suddenly Nameless?
-Is the streamer’s nickname going to be Nameless from now on?
-How can someone’s name be Nameless lol
“Ah, Nameless is just the game nickname. But I haven’t decided on a broadcast name yet, so I’ll go with this for now. Call me whatever you want.”
[Jin Seo-jun – 6 viewers]
-OK
-Seo-ha!
-Kyah! Nameless! A nickname befitting an assassin! GOAT!
“Well then, I’ll end the broadcast here. I’ll stream again tomorrow at the same time. S… ahem. See you tomorrow.”
Seo-jun stammered because saying goodbye to end the stream felt unusual.
-LOL so cute
-Bye-bye
-I’ll definitely come tomorrow.
“Uh, but does it save automatically if I just exit?”
Games were really difficult in this regard.
It definitely wasn’t because he was old.
-LOL you said you were leaving
-Just turn it off. For real.
-Ah this newbie lol who would think he’s playing games for the first time
Pop!

“Hey.”
“Yeah?”
“Is this you?”

Tae-woo clicked on the phone screen to check the video.
“It’s obviously you.”
They had entered the Assassin’s Dawn community.
The reason was because of a strange chat that had appeared in Seo-jun’s chat window a little while ago.
-Should have come early, missed seeing that lol
When Seo-jun was reviewing his broadcast, he thought he hadn’t seen this kind of chat during the stream, and when he checked the time it was posted, it was several minutes after the broadcast ended.
So he scrolled up in the chat window.
-Is this the right hack-and-slash broadcast?
-Why is it turned off?
Many similar chats had been posted besides these.
Seo-jun was confused. There was no reason for people to come looking even after the broadcast ended.
Of course, for well-known major streamers, people sometimes come looking even when their broadcasts are off.
But Seo-jun had just done a broadcast with 6 viewers.
So he asked Tae-woo, who had ended his broadcast around the same time, and they found this post.

=====
(Video of 1-vs-13)
(Video of first clearing Etor with hack-and-slash method)
=====
A user called “Joseon’s Assassin” had carefully clipped and uploaded it.
‘That viewer from back then.’
He’d been quite an impressive viewer. From recognizing his skill early to his spamming.
Seo-jun scrolled down to look at the comments.
-Bullshit, the title alone screams fake
-Joseon’s Assassin is really good at parrying lol insanely good level?
-Are you new to games? Have some conscience
└ But was his skill always this level?
└ It wasn’t me. Nameless did it. Nothing fake about the title.
“What kind of first-day streamer gets a clip made and promoted by a viewer? Amazing.”
Tae-woo said this while looking at it, sounding incredulous.
“Promoted?”
“Yeah, if this isn’t promotion, what would it be?”
Tae-woo scrolled down to highlight a comment.
-Joseon’s Assassin changed his avatar to something better since he’s broadcasting now, his old face was really…
└ LOL sneaky diss
“Wait, not that one.”
-So who is this guy?
└ Go here (channel link) quickly and watch. It’s really fucking insane.
-Is this really the first Etor clear?
└ Yeah, he was a newbie who couldn’t even climb walls properly.
└ Is that even possible, crazy
-Joseon’s Assassin with 10,000 hours in Assassin’s Dawn. Please refrain from newbie cosplay.
└ It’s not me!
It was clearly directed at Joseon’s Assassin, but Seo-jun was momentarily stung by the phrase “newbie cosplay.” But he really was a newbie at Assassin’s Dawn, so whatever.
-Wow his skill is really fucking amazing
└ Just ended broadcast (channel link) at least watch the replay. Nameless is the hope of hack-and-slash gameplay!
Seo-jun understood what Tae-woo had said.
“So this is why you call it promotion?”
“Pretty much. Your followers probably increased by now, right?”
Tae-woo was right.
The 6 followers had somehow grown to over 60.
“Oh.”
“And it’ll probably hit 30 upvotes soon. Then it’ll increase a lot more. I’m going to sleep now.”
Communities had a feature that allowed you to filter only posts that received upvotes from more than 30 people.
And since the majority who just lurk in communities mainly look at posts with 30+ upvotes, the view count difference between 10-upvote posts and 30-upvote posts was significant.
“Alright, sleep well.”
Seo-jun felt an inexplicable sense of anticipation.
* * *
The upvote count on Joseon’s Assassin’s post exceeded 30 as Kim Tae-woo had predicted.
And the community caught fire just like usual.
-What newbie, it’s fake
└ How do you fake that?
└ Does our friend not know about video editing? Hehe
└ So you’re saying a streamer with 6 viewers hacked the Travel server? Bullshit lol that would be more amazing than catching Etor
-People are too naive. You believe that at face value? What “Nameless” lol
[Why the 30-upvote Nameless video is fake]
====
Because I can’t do it!
====
-For real lol the people saying it’s fake are just salty.
-But honestly, don’t most decent pros do that level?
└ These guys changed their repertoire. It’s fake –> Anyone can do it.
[Why the Nameless video is legendary]
====
There are several reasons why veterans couldn’t catch Etor for a week.
One is that setting-wise, Dane is close to a regular person so he can’t use skills. That’s why you have to play without skills even in the tutorial.
(The developers probably intended this)
Second is that Etor’s weapon is a flail with no parry judgment. Meaning no instant kill. (But this is the same for most bosses. Instant kills are only possible through assassination.) Third is the time attack, and this is actually the biggest problem.
Honestly, just fighting while holding out is something most veterans could probably do.
But avoiding everything you need to avoid within 5 minutes while continuously hitting the same spot?
It’s impossible unless you pull off techniques like in that video.
Before seeing that video, most people thought it was impossible. No one had properly succeeded to know how far the damage multiplier could go.
Pros are busy.
The streamer Seo-jun who caught it in one try has insane skill. Who else closes in on someone with a flail and neutralizes all their attacks while slashing their throat?
But a newbie? What the hell is that?
I was just amazed watching it. Really a god of control. Who the hell grabs that and beats it lol
Subscribed immediately.
Anyway, now we know it’s possible to catch Etor, so I’m going to try challenging it (can’t resist) but honestly don’t think I can do it.
====
-This post’s conclusion) Pros were too busy so he got first clear. This Seo-jun guy isn’t that amazing.
└ This guy is really suffocating.
└ Just watch the video once. He’d eat most pros for breakfast.
└ Stop overreacting. One first clear and he’s a pro?
-Analysis upvote
[Why are people making a fuss about first clear anyway? Lol. People didn’t even challenge it much.]
-This was really written by someone who doesn’t play games. The hate is strong.
Due to Joseon’s Assassin’s influence, Seo-jun was called “Nameless” and went up and down in various people’s mouths, and eventually people’s conclusions converged on one thing.
[Honestly, I think Nameless should stream right now and get verified, upvote if you agree lol]
-It’s been less than 3 hours since the broadcast ended.
└ Yeah, but I’ll hold my breath and wait until he streams. Never turn on the broadcast. If someone dies from not streaming, it’s only Nameless’s loss. (OP) └ (This comment has already died.)
└ Who’s going to teach that guy what loss means? LOL
